Glimpses of Holistic Development Programmes

Research & Holistic Development is an APSACS Department established in 2016. Over the years, the department has grown its Portfolio and is now a provider of high standard Holistic Development Programmes and their implementation frameworks; co-curricular activities designed and balanced with curriculum; emotional health implementation and support through a dedicated Emotional Health Programme with focus on child protection and safety; career pathways through exclusive Career Counselling & University Placement Programme;, extensive training package and in-house educational concept papers reflecting trends in modern education. The department also pursues national and international educational collaborations to further enrich and enhance the scope of highly effective Academic Package provided by the Secretariat. The department operates in accordance with high quality academic standards; therefore, all functions of the department are aligned with the mandate specified in COAS Directive, National Education Policy and international benchmarks.

APSACS HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

  • The mission statement of APSACS, as directed by the COAS in 2005, is to “Provide exemplary educational programs of international standards that inspire and prepare all students for success in a global environment at an affordable cost” (ref 1, ref 2a). APSACS is driven by a unified purpose and direction, focusing on maximizing efficiency and productivity to achieve academic and personal development goals aligned with cultural norms. R&HD ensures to foster patriotism, ideological commitment, character development, moral values, civic awareness, emotional health resilience and global perspectives through its robust holistic development programs and co-curricular activities.
