APC&C Seven Streams Quetta (CR)

Army Public School , Seven Stream was established in the year 1988 up to class III under the auspices of School of Infantry and Tactics. In 1994, the level was raised to Class VIII and subsequently it was upgraded to Class X in 1996. In 2003, it was upgraded to Intermediate Level. The school primarily caters for the education of the wards of Army personnel and other employees of School of Infantry and Tactics along with all ranks of Garrison besides a good number of civilians. Ever since its establishment, the aim has been to provide healthy and conducive environment to the children studying in the school. From a modest beginning in the hutted accommodation in 1988, the school has come up to the level of a Modern High School and College of Quetta Garrison . The School premises present a clean, tidy and inviting environment. In March 2006, APS&C Seven Streams became a part of the Army Public Schools and Colleges System.

Garrison Academy Quetta (CR)

The foundation stone of the school was laid in 1984 as Kehkashan Army Public School , Nursery level by Commander 12 Corps, Lt. General Khushdil Khan Afridi. The academy was initially housed in old army huts. It was upgraded to Middle level in 1988 and to Secondary level in 1990 to meet the growing demand for quality education. It was renamed as Garrison Academy Quetta in 1997.

The GAQ is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad . The first batch of matriculates qualified in 1993. The school was upgraded to Intermediate level in 2000. The first batch of GAQ College passed out in 2005.

APS&C Iqra Quetta (CR)

APS& C Iqra Quetta Cantt was established by the Command and Staff College , Quetta , initially as a little school in 1977. In the following years it was upgraded to Primary School Level. It was further upgraded to Middle School in 1981and to Class X and Cambridge O' Level in 1994. The first batch that cleared both levels was then offered College Intermediate classes in Science (Pre-Engineering and Medical). In 2003, the College was further upgraded to Degree Level, and was affiliated with the University of Punjab .

The School basically caters for the academic needs of the children of officers/soldiers/civilian employees of Command and Staff College . Children of other garrison officers/soldiers/ civilians of Quetta are also entertained. Wards of retired armed forces personnel are also admitted. In 2005, Iqra came under the APSACS umbrella after the establishment of APSACS Secretariat and is following the policies of APSACS Sectt. The uniform and syllabi have been standardized as per the policies of APSACS Sectt.

Besides the permanent teaching and administrative staff, the functioning of Iqra APS & C is closely supervised by an Executive Council of the Command and Staff College to maintain healthy and congenial environment for education and development of students. At present, the school has a total of 127 staff members and student population of 1720.

APS Al-Hadid Quetta

Al-Hadid Army Public School was established by Baloch Regimental Centre in 1948 as a Children's Academy in order to impart Primary Education. In 1965, the school was shifted to EME Centre, and was raised to Middle Level in 1985. The school was renamed Al-Hadid Army Public School , and registered as such by GHQ. In 2001,it was further raised to SSC Level, and affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad. In June 2009, it became part of APSACS and was known as Al-Hadid APSACS.
