APS&C (Boys) Peshawar

The foundation of APS&C was laid in 1994 with the objective of imparting quality education to children of Army personnel posted to Peshawar; the facility was extended to retired officers' children and civilians living in the vicinity. The College was affiliated with FBISE at SSC level in 1995 and HSSC level in 1996. The college has also been affiliated with the Peshawar board at HSSC level in 2007. The college has been affiliated with the Peshawar University for the B.A/ B.Sc classes. The school and college building is purpose built and well maintained. It has well equipped labs, auditorium and play grounds.

APS&C (Girls) Peshawar

The School was established in 1983 as a pre-school, which gradually rose to a middle level and secondary level school in 1991. The school attained the status of a college in 1998. GCE and O'Levels was introduced in 1999. The School & College sections are affiliated with FBISE and O'Levels is affiliated with the Cambridge International Exam System. Financial & Admin affairs are looked after by HQ Arty 11 Corps.

APS (Junior) Peshawar

APS Junior Peshawar was set up in the year 1991 and initially ran Prep & Nursery classes only. The school has come a long way since its establishment and now runs Pre, Junior and Middle School. The administration aims at providing quality education to students and strives for the holistic development of students by providing them a number of opportunities for co/extra-curricular pursuits.

APS (Toddlers Academy) Peshawar

The school was established in May 2001.Initially the school was till grade one, while in 2003 it was upgraded till class 5. The school came under the umbrella of APSACS in 2005. The school had started with a total staff of 30, which has now increased to 67. Current students' strength is 830. The admin aims at providing quality education to students and strives for holistic development of students by providing them number of opportunities for co/extra curricular pursuits.

Garrison APS Peshawar

The paucity of good educational institutions in Peshawar Cantonment led the 7 Div Headquarters to establish a school that could meet the requirement of accommodating the increasing strength of students and to provide quality education to the children of armed forces personnel, as well as civilians. Garrison Public School , Peshawar , a co-education institution, was established on 3 rd March 1997. Initially, the school started with 3 classes, namely Play Group, KG and Prep with the strength of 52 students. Within a short period of two years it attained the status of a primary level school. In April 2000, it was upgraded to middle level with the strength of 332 students. Later in the year 2003 it was upgraded to secondary level and renamed as Garrison Army Public School . The first batch of Matriculation level students appeared for annual examination into 2005. The school was brought in the fold of APEIs (Army Public Education Institutions of Peshawar) 11 Corps in July 2010. Currently, the school accommodates classes from Play Group to Matriculation (IX – X) with the total strength of almost 1100 students.

APS&C (Zamzama) Nowshera

APS&C Zamzama was established in 1986 as a Primary school and was upgraded to Middle in 1995 and to Matric level in 1998. It became an intermediate Science College during 2004 and is ever since affiliated with the Federal Board. During 2010 the school building remained submerged in flood water for almost twenty days. Therefore, its Pre and Junior Sections were shifted to the newly raised Army Public School Junior Campus. The institution is now functioning as Army Public School & College Zamzama (Senior campus) having level of instruction form Class IV to Intermediate. The rebuilt campus of APS&C Zamzama is purpose-built and amiable to pursuing all school related activities.

APS (Jnr) Zamzama Nowshera

APS&C Zamzama was established in 1986 as ARTY Little Scholars School. In 1995, it was renamed as Zamzama Academy . In 1999, it was affiliated with Federal Board Islamabad and was upgraded to college level and was renamed APS Zamzama Senior, Nowshera Cantt. The school was completely submerged in the flood waters in 2010. Resultantly, the school was split into two separate sections, i.e, Junior & Middle/Senior Section. The Preschool and Junior Sections were shifted to new premises and started functioning in April 2011.

APS&C (Iqbal) Nowshera

Iqbal Academy was founded at Nowshera Cantt on 1 st January, 1990. It was upgraded to Middle School on 1 st January, 1992 and was raised to Secondary level in the year 1995. The College classes commenced in August, 2003. The school spreads over a vast area and aims at providing quality education to the children of all ranks of the ASC Corps. The school building is refurbished and new blocks are being built to cater to the basic infrastructural requirements of the increasing student populace.

APS (Armour) Nowshera

APS (Armour) Nowshera, was established by School of Armour and Mechanised Warfare in 1982 to provide basic / primary education to the wards of Army personnel, especially those posted to School of Armour and Mechanised Warfare and Armoured Corps Centre, Nowshera. Initially the school was limited up to class V. In 1991, the institution was upgraded to Matric level.

In the beginning, the school was established in a make shift accommodation i.e., old residential bungalows / troops barracks etc. available in the area. Further accommodation was later added or constructed on self- help basis, as the requirement rose with the increase in classes / school strength. There was no planned construction and the school kept on expanding in a haphazard manner.

In 1988, the school was upgraded to secondary level and it was registered with FBISE. The devastating flood in July 2010 left the school in shambles. Its entire ground floor was submerged. The school library, science & computer labs, offices, records & furniture, everything, was washed away. Thereafter, the school needed tremendous amount of restructuring. The management of the school was then handed over to Armoured Corps Centre. The Formation has since done a lot to re-equip the school and overcome its deficiencies.

APS (Engr) Akora Khattak

Army Public School ( Engrs),Akora Khattak was established in March 2000 at Akora Bridge Camp under 479 Bridge Battalion Engineers. It was registered with Army Education Directorate on 12 th March 2001. The school was raised to SSC Level in April 2004 and affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in December 2004.

Aziz Bhatti Shaheed APS&C Mardan

APS&C Mardan was established in March, 1987. The school was raised to the college level in 1994. In 2001, two separate wings, both for girls and boys, were established due to the consistent demand of parents. The school edifice is purpose-built and conducive to teaching and learning. Besides, the school provides numerous opportunities to students for the conduct of co/extra-curricular activities due to its large expanse and availability of sports ground/playing area.

APS Iqra Risalpur

The school was established in 1984 for wards of officers posted in Risalpur Cantt. Initially it consisted of classes Nursery till III , the level was raised up to class VIII in 1993 and subsequently affiliated with the FBISE for SSC classes in 1994.

APS&C Cherat

Army Public School and College, Cherat was established in the year 2002 under the administrative control of Headquarters Special Services Group. The classes from Nursery to Class VII commenced in April 2002, followed by the establishment of College wing. Since December 2008, the school is working under the command of Headquarters 22 Special Services Brigade. Presently, a separate building/campus for Senior School (Girls) is under construction. The school is situated at Chapri at the base of Khattak Range , 7km short of Cherat within the cantonment limits.

APS&C Kohat

APS&C Kohat was originally established as Iqra Garrison School at KG level, in February 1980. The school was later shifted to a new building, under the name of APS Kohat. It was further upgraded to HSSC level in 1999. The Institute provides education to day scholars only.

APS&C Thal

Nishtar Public school was established on 16 March 1984 in a temporary accommodation inside Thall Cantt. The school was renamed as Army Public School and upgraded to secondary level in August 1999. Army Public School has co-eductaion up to grade 6 th . Separate classes for boys in the new campus (VTI) and for girls in old campus are organized up to intermediate level.

APS&C Bannu

APS&C was founded on 29 th April, 1984 as Iqra Academy . It functioned as a primary school for the children of army personnel and civilian of the area. In 1989, it was renamed as Army Public School . In 1989, the school was upgraded to college level. The school took further strides both in scope and services and today, it is serving as Army Public School & College duly affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate Secondary Education, Islamabad .

APS D.I. Khan Pasban

Army personnel posted to D.I.Khan felt the absence of a good educational institution for their children. This need led the DSG Corps authorities to establish Pasban APS, DI Khan in 1993. With the passage of time, the number of students increased and the school was later upgraded to class 10; the required facilities like Science, Computer Labs and Library were made available.

APS&C (Iqbal Fort) D.I.Khan

APS&C D.I Khan was established in 1989 under the auspices of 5- Arty Bde. In the beginning the school and college had separate administrative structures, but later both the institutions were merged for effective management. The school is situated in the premises of Fort Iqbal Cantonment, west of Dera Ismail khan City. The building is well-designed, spacious, and is spread over a vast area of five acres.

APS Warsak

APS Warsak Garrison was established in 1992 as a Nursery block. This modest set up grew into Primary Section and subsequently to the Middle and Senior. Formally, the school got registered with Army Education Directorate GHQ in 1994 and was up graded to class VI level in 1996. The school administration and other stakeholders aim at providing quality education to learners and strive for their complete development. The school ensures the timely provision of opportunities to the students for academic and extra-curricular pursuits. The institution got affiliation with “FBISE” as high school and with BISE, Peshawar in 2005 and 2012 respectively.
