Garrison Academy for Boys Lahore

Garrison Academy Boys was built on Government land granted to the O' Dwyer Trust. The foundation stone was laid by Lt Gen Sardar FS Lodhi in June 1983. Classes began in April 1984 and were upgraded to GCE ‘O' Level in April 1992. In March 2003 it was bifurcated into Garrison Academy Boys (VI onwards) & Garrison Junior Academy (Playgroup to Class V). GCE ‘A' Level Classes commenced in Sept 2005. In October 2005, it came into the fold of the APSACS Secretariat.

Garrison Academy for Girls Lahore

Lieutenant General Humayun Khan Bangash, Commander 4 Crops being committed to the cause of female education, fully realized the necessity of a model English medium school for girls in Lahore Cantonment. During his tenure, as Patron Lahore Garrison Educational System, he handed over some available land from the Ordnance Estate to LGES in Oct 1993 and expressed his desire that a Girls Academy be constructed and made functional at the earliest. Thus, within a short span of six months LGES after pooling all its resources was able to commence classes in Garrison Academy for Girls from Prep to Class III with an intake of 57 students on 19 th March 1994. The Girls Academy had the honour of being officially inaugurated by its founder, Lieutenant General Humayun Khan Bangash on 04 January 1995. Presently, the Academy has Class II to Class X / O Level and A Level. The Girls Academy was declared the Best Institution by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad in 2007.

APS Garrison Junior Academy Lahore

APS Garrison Junior was established in March 1954. The name was changed to Cantonment Public High School for Girls in 1962. The school acquired its present name ‘Army Public School Garrison Junior' in 1983. It is a feeder school for Azam Garrison and Garrison Boys High School. The school is housed in an old building with beautiful lawns and a separate block for administrative offices.

APS&C for Girls Azam Garrsion Lahore

The foundation stone of Army Public School & College for Girls (Azam Garrison) was laid by Lt. General (R) Azam Khan, GOC 10 Div in 1950 with the objective of providing educational facilities to the children of Army personnel as well as civilian residing in the Cantonment.

Initially it was a Primary school, later it was raised to High School. In 1983, it was upgraded to the status of an Intermediate College for Girls. In 1990, the college was further upgraded to Degree Level. In the same year, the high school was separated from college classes and is administratively managed as a separate institution since then.

Garrison Boys Secondary School & Inter College Lahore

Garrison Boys High School and Intermediate College is a premiere institution of Lahore Garrison Education System. The foundation of Army Public School ( Azam Garrison ) was laid down by Maj. Gen Azam Khan in 1950. GBHS was established in 1963 when Azam Garrison was bifurcated so as to have separate School for Boys and Girls. The institution started with 161boys while staff members were only 7. Now there are 78 teachers for 1380 students. Recently the Boys School has been upgraded to the Intermediate Level and it has been named as Garrison Boys High School & Intermediate College .

APS&C Mahfooz Shaheed Garrsion Lahore

The school was established in 1980 as a primary school. It was upgraded to SSC Level in 1995 and Cambridge level in 2005. From 1998 to 2004 it remained under the control of 10 Div and till to-date, it is being managed by LGES Sectt.

APS&C Chunian Cantt

APSACS Chunian was established as a Primary School ( Iqra Garrison School ) by an Infantry Battalion and upgraded in 1986 as a Middle School. In 1989 it was named as Army Public School and got registration with Education Department in 1990. In 1994 the school established its Pre School , Junior Section and Senior Section. In 2000 the school started working as an intermediate school and re-named as Army Public School and College. A separate Girls Middle Section was added in September 2011. In 2011 the College got its affiliation with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

APS Garrison Junior Academy Lahore

In 1983, Garrison Academy for Boys was established at Sir Micheal O' Dwyer's Trust Land by Lt. General Sardar F. S. Lodhi, the then Corps Commander. The need to separate the Junior Section and place it under an independent Principal was felt because of the growing size of the Academy.

Garrison Junior Academy took off as an independent school on 10 th March 2003. It is now a full fledged elementary school. This institution is now a feeder for the Girls and Boys Academies . Boys are admitted to Play Group and remain up to Class V.

Garrison Academy Jnr (Sarwar Shaheed) (Evening)

On 12 th June 1983, Lt .Gen F.S Lodhi, Commander 4 Corps, laid the foundation stone of Garrison Academy , Lahore Cantt, later to be renamed as Garrison Academy for Boys. In March 2003, it was felt that the Academy should be bifurcated into two wings, the Primary Section to be called Garrison Junior Academy , and Senior wings as Garrison Academy for Boys. Later, due to the ever-increasing number of students, it was felt that the academy should start a second shift.

As per the direction of the Patron, Commander 4 Corps Lt. Gen Shifat Ullah Shah, to facilitate the defence personnel and to meet the admission demand of the civilians, evening session was started in the premises of Garrison Junior Academy on 20 th November 2006.

Garrison Academy Junior, Sarwar Shaheed Campus, took off as an independent school on 18 th August 2008. A year later, the need to separate the Junior Section and the Senior Section was felt because of the growing size of the Academy. Now Garrison Academy Junior Sarwar Shaheed Campus comprises of Pre and Junior School with 1693 students.

Garrison Academy Senior (Tufail Shaheed) Campus

Garrison Academy Tufail Shaheed Campus is a newly established institution under the umbrella of APSACS System patronized by 4 Corps. Situated in the heart of Lahore Cantonment, it is easily approachable from all areas of the city. Spread over an area of 17.35 acres, its lush green lawns and playfields adequately cater for the physical infrastructural and academic needs of the students. The students mostly belong to army background and families of the soldiers and JCOs with about one third of students' strength coming from civil background of the middle strata of the society.
